FAQ

FAQS

Here are answers to some common questions.

  • What, exactly, is a medical spa?

A medical spa, as defined by the American Spa Association, is a cross between a cosmetic medical center and a day spa that offers minimally invasive and non-invasive medical procedures.

  • What can a med spa do for me?

A medical spa can help you unlock your body’s inherent beauty with any of a number of services and treatments that are quick, painless, and proven. Among the services Anew You provides are skin tag removal, PRP injections, spray tans, medical-grade weight loss, hair restoration, dermal fillers, and anti-wrinkle injections. • How long do anti-wrinkle injections last?

Results can begin to appear within a week and typically last between three and four months.

  • How long does the process of receiving anti-wrinkle injections take?

The procedure takes about thirty minutes from start to finish.

  • How long does drawing blood take?

The process of drawing blood takes about an hour, and the recovery time is usually no more than 48 hours.

  • Should I get anti-wrinkle injections or fillers?

Each individual is different, so it’s difficult to give a one-size-fits-all answer to this commonly asked question. As a general rule of thumb, anti-wrinkle injections work best for the upper face and fillers work best for the lower face. However, there can be many exceptions to this rule.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections aren’t working for me the way they used to. What should I do?

Anti-wrinkle injections can be a great tool to fight your skin’s wrinkles as it ages, but how well they work in each case ultimately depends on your skin’s overall health. You might want to try an alternative to anti-wrinkle injections, such as Jeuveau, and see if it has more of a desired effect. It could also be an issue of needing more units of anti-wrinkle injections as your skin ages.
